For this project we were approached by the client with the desire to create a room divicer that would appear built-in on-site but could be used as a freestanding piece of furniture and flexibly adapted to new room layouts or different contexts. Through close collaboration with the Architects, we developed this room divider consisting of a monolithic base made of stained oak and a display case connected by a metallic frame.

The fluted oak doors create the illusion of a single wooden surface and provide access to storage from both sides. The preparation of the triple-layer solid wood doors and the highly precise processing on our CNC machine were crucial to ensuring smooth operation for years, even in varying humidity conditions.
