Occulta

John Pawson - 2026

Occulta translates John Pawson’s architectural approach to light into a sculptural floor lamp. Two curved, interlocking wooden elements form a vertical structure in which two linear light sources are concealed. The light falls onto the inner surfaces, creating a warm, diffuse atmosphere.

The geometry of the two wooden elements also serves a structural purpose: their opposing curves lend the lamp stability, allowing it to stand without an additional base.

The result is a quiet presence in the room, defined by the interplay of light, form and material.
