Teo Jakob was a friend and supporter of our company for many years. It was his idea to produce our very first collection, which Ernst Röthlisberger brought out in 1977. Together with Hans Eichenberger, Robert Haussmann, Peter Haussmann and Kurt Thut, he founded Swiss Design. The «Teo Jakob» company is still a byword for top-quality design for the home. Teo Jakob died in the year 2000, but his philosophy lives on. The Oval Table is a wonderful example of his work.
