He played a key role in the early years of the Röthlisberger Kollektion and for many Swiss people is still the classic furniture designer, as exemplified by the Mondrian cupboard. Ochsner (1933–1995) is a designer and artist who studied under Willy Guhl and has won numerous international and national awards for furniture and clock design. Today we pay tribute to him with the Arcos table, a design that was ahead of its time and had to wait for the production process to chatch up.
